FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Surgical instrument for cutting and fastening contains working organ and shaft, connected with working organ and with handle. Shaft contains drive circuit for power supply to working organ. Handle contains electric engine of constant current. Engine is connected with drive circuit for energy supply to drive circuit. Power source of constant current contains one or several batteries. Handle contains power regulator. Power regulator has inlet, connected with engine inlet. Power regulator contains power converter and control circuit for control of power converter. Circuit controls set value of voltage for conversion of power, in such a way that voltage, output from power source is lower than voltage at which power source produces maximal power.
EFFECT: operator has opportunity to perform better control of both rate and power of engine.
