FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an improved fire fighting device used with a helicopter, which comprises: a) a storage tank mounted on the said aircraft and adapted for storing water or flame retardant foam b) a cab with cables and a drive used for lowering the said cab via the said cables from the said aircraft, c) a fire hose extending from the storage tank downwards to the said cab and used by fireman for guiding the said water or foam, and d) the said cab having at least one portal retractable sidewards for transporting the fire brigade and the victims from the said cab or into it.
EFFECT: providing greater amount of fire-extinguishing fluid, and the ability to access of the fire brigade to the narrow places, as well as the stability of the aircraft in the air without his motion towards the goal, and this contributes to the safety of the aircraft and fire-fighting and emergency rescue unit.
