FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire fighting equipment, particularly to method of fighting large-scale fire. Proposed method consist in feeding fire fighting substance into fire zone and/or on barrier strip. Note that said fire fighting substance represents combine foam jet with low expansion ratio of 7 to 20 and medium expansion ratio of 20 to 70. In compliance with first version, helicopter device comprises unit for combined fire fighting that generates and feeds combined foam jets of aforesaid expansion ratio and water tank mounted on the frame inclined, horizontally or vertically. Water tanks have suction branch pipes communicated with motor pump units and connected with foam generator tanks and motor pump unit via pipelines. In compliance with second version, helicopter device comprises unit for combined fire fighting that generates and feeds into fire zone and/or barrier strip two or more combined foam jets of low expansion ratio and medium expansion ratio.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of simultaneous fighting crown and creeping fires.
