FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring and detection of plugging in pipeline feeding solids, fluids and/or gases to moving gas flow. Proposed system comprises pipeline or chamber with opening in its, elongated lance in said opening communicated with working material and pipeline or chamber inside at cross point with gas flow. Note here that lengthwise channel is formed in every lance for fluid communication and provided with detector connected to temperature gage and lance. Said detector comprises hot wise that features preset temperature. So, temperature increase measured by said gage and compared to preset temperature indices working material feed rate decrease. Note that said crease testifies to pipeline plugging. Method of detecting plugging in channel partially dipped in gas flow comprises determining the feed rate or indicating parameter of working material feed rate and control over feed rate or rate indicating parameters to detect feed rate decrease.
EFFECT: efficient detection of plugging.
