FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portland cement composition and can be used to produce novel types of cement used in construction, as well as mortar and concrete based thereon. The portland cement contains alite portland cement clinker, gypsum dihydrate and a mineral additive in form of sodium sulphate and quartz sand with grain size of 160-320 mcm, with the following ratio of components, wt %: alite portland cement clinker 87.34-96.43, gypsum dihydrate 1.93-6.99, sodium sulphate 0.68-3.06, quartz sand with grain size of 160-320 mcm - the balance.
EFFECT: improved strength characteristics of portland cement.
