FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, mining and chemical industry, and may be used for intense mixing of acid medium, containing concentrate, as it is leached in an autoclave. The method includes air introduction into the lower part of the autoclave to develop circulation of the mixing medium and discharge of its excess, at the same time air introduction is carried out into the lower part of a lifting pipe installed in the autoclave, placed into a column, along which pulp is lifted by height that 1.5-2 times exceeds depth of the lifting pipe into the mixing medium, the flow of three-phase mixture is sent to a reflector made of material, which is abrasive- and chemically resistant to the mixed medium, afterwards along the column the pulp is drained back into the autoclave and along inclined shelves sent to surfaces of heat exchangers. The device comprises a lifting pipe installed in the autoclave, a pipe of air supply and a nozzle of spent air discharge, at the same time the lifting pipe is placed into the column installed in the autoclave, and is made with height that 1.5-2 times exceeds the height of the autoclave, at the same time the pipe of air supply is brought to the lifting pipe to the distance from its lower end, making from 1 to 2 of its diameters, and on top, opposite to the mouth of the lifting pipe the column is equipped with a reflector made from a material, which is abrasive and chemically resistant to the mixed medium.

EFFECT: invention provides for increased intensity of mixing under conditions of chemically aggressive and highly aggressive medium.
