SUBSTANCE: in the method for measurement of pulse pressure for modulation of a metering beam they use variances of optical length of its path in the area of measurements in the area of measurements under action of pressure disturbances with stable geometric parameters - cross section and geometric length of this path. The device comprises a source of light and a photo register, which are connected with a double-arm interferometer. In the metering arm of the interferometer there is a break, which limits the zone of measurements, open into the medium, along which metered pressure disturbances are spread.

EFFECT: non-sensitivity of a device towards electromagnetic and mechanical noise and vibrations.
