FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transmitting device (62), designed for transfer of signals in the system of multiple carriers, in which pilot signals and data displayed to carrier frequencies, are sent in a transmission band, in which the part of the specified transmission band is not used for transfer of signals. The transmitting device (62) is composed of the following components: a pilot signal display device (63), designed for display of pilot signals to selected carrier frequencies in accordance with the structure of the pilot signal, which is made with the possibility of channel assessment in the appropriate reception device, the specified structure of the pilot signal provides for the possibility to assess the channel for carrier frequencies arranged near the specified part of the specified transmission band, which is not used for transmission signals. This invention additionally relates to the appropriate method.
EFFECT: more reliable assessment of a channel.
