FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and a method of transmitting signals in a multi-carrier system. Each frame comprises at least one signal code pattern and one or more data code patterns. The transmission device has a frame generating means. First data signals are located in said at least one signal code pattern in a frame. Data are located in said one or more data code patterns in a frame. Data of said one or more data code patterns include content data and sorting information which enables to sort content data in the right temporal order, a conversion means configured to convert said at least one signal code pattern and said one or more data code patterns from the frequency domain to the dime domain, in order to generate a transmission signal in the time domain, and a transmission means configured to transmit said transmission signal in the time domain.

EFFECT: enabling flexible tuning to any required part of the transmission band while ensuring low volume of overhead and high transmission speeds.
