SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves the stages, at which alternating current (Is) of constant value is supplied to a rectifier; alternating current (U) is rectifier to rectified current (Ir); pulse width modulation of rectified current (Ir) is performed; capacitor is charged by means of pulse width modulated rectified current (Ir), and energy is supplied from the capacitor to LED.

EFFECT: simplifying and improving stability of operation.
