SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of fish preserves production. The method envisages packing of cut cherna, maintained in a salt solution and fried in vegetable oil, and a sauce, sealing and sterilisation. The sauce is produced by way of cooking a mixture of milled bulb onions, tomato paste, drinking water, sugar, black hot pepper, allspice, cloves, coriander, laurel leaf with acetic acid addition. Ground pumpkin seeds extraction cake, preliminarily maintained in water for swelling, is introduced into the sauce.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the manufactured target product adhesion to container walls.
