FIELD: rescue equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of activation for work of individual respiratory units of insulating type on fixed oxygen. The method of activation of individual insulating unit with application of initiating liquid is that the initiating liquid is fed to the heat composition. The heat composition in contact with the initiating fluid is heated and generates hot water steam. Then the water steam is supplied to the volume of the regenerative product. Natural breathing process with the reaction with heat liberation fast (15-20 seconds) completes the process of activation.
EFFECT: heat composition has high specific heat liberation and significantly less weight, which enables to place it compactly in a volume of the regenerative product.
