FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be sued in gas industry for preparation of hydrocarbon gas for single-phase transfer. Proposed method comprises removal of heavy components from hydrocarbon gas by absorption. Hydrocarbon gas is fed to adsorber mid section while adsorbent is fed to column top section. Column bottom section is heated while column top section is cooled over the entire height of its mass exchange sections. Adsorption is performed at 2.5-3.8 MPa abs. and column top temperature of 5-25°C column bottom temperature of 55-105°C.
EFFECT: higher yield of prepared gas, lower costs and metal input.
