FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a fractionating absorber, which consists of a vertical housing, absorption and stripping mass-exchange sections, a feed area with a connection pipe for inlet of the gas to be purified situated in between, an upper separation area with connection pipes for inlet of an absorbent and outlet of purified gas and a lower separation area with connection pipes for outlet of the adsorbate. The mass-exchange sections are divided into two subsections, each having at least one heat-mass exchange unit which is equipped with connection pipes for inlet and outlet of heat carrier or coolant, made of spiral-radial type heat-mass exchange elements which form an inner space for passage of heat carrier or coolant and an outer space for counter-current mass exchange between the gas and a descending liquid film. The connection pipe for outlet of the absorbate and the lower connection pipe of the stripping subsection adjacent to the feed area, as well as the connection pipe for outlet of purified gas and the upper connection pipe of the absorption subsection adjacent to the feed area are connected in pairs by pipelines. The outer space of the heat-mass exchange units of the absorption section is preferably filled with a mass-exchange filling substance.
EFFECT: invention reduces power consumption and metal consumption.
