FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive processing and can be used for compaction of powders, production of new materials with unique properties at high pressures. Proposed device comprises cylindrical charge of explosive wherein block of material to be squeezed is arranged axially. Metallic liner is arranged with clearance on outer side surface and furnished with sheet propellant and end face detonation plating. Similar detonation plating is added to charge second end face. Said metallic liner allows phase rate of detonation excitation along cylindrical charge side surface U=(1.3…1.6)D, where D is charge detonation rate.

EFFECT: simultaneous loading at all sides.
