FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in various cumulative devices (CD) intended for formation of high-speed compact elements (HSCE) when simulating the impact of meteoric particles or space debris of artificial origin on bodies of space objects and at the pilot study of materials in conditions of high-speed shock loading. The combined cumulative facing (CF) for formation of high-speed compact elements contains the jet-forming part in the form of spherical segment and the cutting part interfaced to it in the form of cylinder with the external radius equal to the external radius of cross section of the jet-forming part in the interface plane. The spherical segment height is selected in the range (1.2…1.8) Rs, where Rs - external radius of the spherical segment.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the design of combined CF as one of elements of the elementary CD for formation of HSCEs providing the formation of HSCE with required mass and high-speed characteristics.
