FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic concentration and may be used for concentration of mineral mix pulps. Proposed separator comprises vibrating table with current winding thereunder fitted on magnetic polar tips supplied with three-phase and having axes directed perpendicular to separation table. Travelling magnetic field inductor consists of two parts A and B to vary feed current frequency and distance to separation surface with opposite direction of travelling field. Inductor current coils may be displaced in parallel in direction of pulp motion and consist of several sections that allow disconnection of some of them. Note here that shift angle between parts A and B can vary from 180 to 190 degrees depending on selected shift spacing. Pulp loader is located at the center between said parts A and B.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
