FIELD: concentration of mineral resources especially finely dispersed minerals having almost similar magnetic properties. SUBSTANCE: separator magnetic system has two electromagnets placed on two sides of separation zone in parallel to each other for adjusting angle and clearance between them. Electromagnets are connected tc ac supply mains through rectifying diodes with starting lead of first and second electromagnet windings connected to cathode of one electromagnet and to anode of second one. EFFECT: provision for producing pulsating magnetic field due to sequential switching of electromagnets. 2 dwg
