FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for processing of end spherical surfaces of bearings. Billet and tool with moving primary abrasive stocks and other sticks arranged there between are revolving in one direction. Said moving primary abrasive stocks and other sticks are fed perpendicular to billet surface in axial direction independently and in turn. Other abrasive stocks in contact with machine surface are additionally reciprocated tangentially to machine surface generatrix. Tool with aligned spring-loaded different-diameter pistons is used. Smaller-diameter front piston is coupled with sleeve whereat set of other sticks is arranged. larger-diameter piston has a ledge in contact with flat surface of main stick set to displace them to billet surface.
EFFECT: higher precision and efficiency.
