FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a pad to overlap the defective magnetic shell segment and a mechanism to press the pad against the shell including a magnetic grab with working pole surface with the latter's form and size corresponding to the defective segment of the shell. The pad consists of three layers and its dimensions are greater than or equal to the dimensions of the defective shell segment. Inner layer represents an elastic and mechanically strong base plate. Binding layer represents an elastic self-adhesive coating providing for easy-to-diassemble connection with the working pole surface of the magnetic grab and being adhesive in relation to the material of this surface. Grouting layer represents a consistent material being adhesive in relation to the shell material and providing for contact between the pad and defective shell segment and its sealing.
EFFECT: improving sealing reliability, personnel safety when using device, enhancing device application field.
