FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: light-sensitive device has a first filter to block visible light on a light path, a first colour sensor and a colourless sensor to detect light on the light path after the first filter. A light intensity computer calculates intensity of visible light on the light path based on the difference between (a) the output signal of the first colour sensor and (b) the output signal of the colourless sensor.
EFFECT: invention reduces sensitivity of the output signal to the infrared component of light.
