SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for determining a measured value of the fuel level in a fuel tank and an aircraft. The system has a fuel tank, inside of which a lot of optical sensors are installed, a fiber-optic bundle, one or more processors. To determine the measured value of the fuel level in the fuel tank, output data characterizing the corresponding pressure values is received from a lot of optical sensors, and the measured value of the fuel level in the fuel tank is determined by one or more processors based on the output data. The aircraft has a fuel tank located in the wing and/or the fuselage of the aircraft and a system for determining the measured value of the fuel level.
EFFECT: group of inventions improves reliability of measuring the amount of fuel in the fuel tank, reduces weight and simplifies the system design.
