SUBSTANCE: portable light manipulator consists of a frame and a manipulator cloth (1) that is stretched or can be stretched on the frame. The frame has at least one tension bar (3), which has at least two moving sections (9, 13) that are movable in a longitudinal direction of the tension bar and are connected to one another or can be connected to one another, said moving sections being spring-loaded so as to be capable of being forced apart from one another by spring force in the longitudinal direction of the tension bar.
EFFECT: improving the portable light manipulator, easier maintenance, providing higher margins with respect to tension of the cloth and counteracting weakening of said tension due to the effects of aging.
