FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of fluid films on substrates. Proposed applicator comprises means to distribute fluid over second width of slotted nozzle to make fluid film arranged upstream of said slotted nozzle to extend continuously from edge to edge of applicator first width. It has at least one fluid feed channel arranged upstream of said distribution space. Note here that said channel has third width, smaller than second one. Said distribution space has multiple distribution channels with cross-section area increasing along the flow. Note also that every distribution channel is connected with appropriate feed channel arranged in the above channel.
EFFECT: uniform application.
