FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a control method of biogas production from biomass in a biogas reactor. Before biogas is produced, a reference value of concentration of microelements is set: for nickel - 4 to 30 mg/kg of dry substance (DS), for cobalt - 0.4 to 5 mg/kg of DS, for molybdenum - 1 to 10 mg/kg of DS, and for iron - 1500 to 3500 mg/kg of DS. Biogas is produced from biomass in a biogas reactor. Concentration of microelements such as nickel, cobalt, molybdenum and iron in the reactor is determined at certain intervals. In case the defined concentration of microelement is lower than the reference value, missing microelements are added to the biogas reactor and biologic availability of microelements contained in biomaterial in the biogas reactor is increased. As per one of the versions, reference values of selenium concentration of 0.5 to 4 mg/kg of DS are also set and selenium concentration in the biogas reactor is determined.
EFFECT: method allows obtaining biogas irrespective of content of dry substance in a substrate and eliminating concentrations of nickel, cobalt and molybdenum in the residue of fermentation, which are critical for environment.
