FIELD: dairy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dairy industry, as well as to biotechnology and can be used in production of fodder protein products using microbiological synthesis. Method comprises adding milk whey into a fermenter, adding nutrients to it, mixing, pasteurisation, cooling, introduction of Lactobacillus and Propionibacterium freudenreichii cultures. Fermentation is carried out until pH drops to 4.0–4.6. Then one introduces a culture of fodder yeast and continues cultivation with aeration. Biomass is filtered and cooled. Biomass is mixed with gum arabic and oat flour to form granules, which are then dried.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing a functional fodder product for farm animals.
