FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to turbo machine flow section seals operated at higher temperatures and high-frequency oscillations. Run-in material powder is sintered in die in two steps in vacuum or protective medium. At first step, preset-width strips are formed from powder to make preset shape and size cores by sintering. Two-layer strip with cores are made, said cores being arranged between said strip layers, in parallel and spaced apart, so that cores are located across said strips. Cores are secured by clamping on both sides by strips to produce permanent joint there between in spacings between cores, strips being located over one width. Two-layer strip is placed in mould with core axes being directed along seal element height to mould said element by sintering.
EFFECT: higher run-in properties, mechanical strength and wear resistance.
