FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to turbo machine flow section seals operated at higher temperatures and high-frequency oscillations. Proposed method comprises fritting powder material in the mould in vacuum or protective atmosphere to shape seal element as required. Fritting is performed at two steps; first step includes strip is formed by feeding conformable material powder, binder and, at least, one gauze into roll space and rolling via rolls heated to temperature that ensures fritting of material powder and gauze. Second step includes cutting made strip to mould working surface area sizes. Said strip section is laid inside the mould to cover the entire working surface or only side working surfaces. Said mould is filled with conformable material powder to form seal element by fritting powder particles and strips particles. In case strip is to be made of two or more gauzes, conformable material powder is fed there between.
EFFECT: high work-in capacity and mechanical wear resistance.
