FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to turbo machine flow section seals operated at higher temperatures and high-frequency oscillations. Run-in material powder is sintered in die in two steps in vacuum or protective medium. At first step, multilayer reinforced strip in made. Note here that, first, inner corrugated strip is produced by feeding run-in material powder and metal meshed tape in clearance between rolls and rolling it through first two ribbed rolls. Then, inner corrugated strip is rolled through second two second rolls. Metal meshed tapes and run-in material powder are fed on both sides of iner corrugated strip. Produced multilayer reinforced strip is cut out, laid inside the mould to be filled with powder and moulded the seal blank.
EFFECT: higher run-in properties, mechanical strength and wear resistance.
