FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises target detection and identification, target capture, target tracking, target approach speed, computation of missile absolute muzzle velocity, computation of predicted range, computation of missile muzzle velocity and muzzle velocity modulus with allowance for barrel bore wear, computation of predicted angles and coordinates of moving target and objected under defence in vertical and horizontal planes of aiming coordinate, changing the position of weapons barrels relative to current position of boresight with allowance for actual muzzle and absoluter velocity of missile with due allowance for gun barrel bore wear. Proposed antiaircraft system comprises surveillance and aiming system, navigation system, onboard computer system, weapons drives, machine gun or gun systems, first and second transducers secured at gun barrel, missile muzzle velocity and definite combinations of system components.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of fire.
