FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises first and second transducers secured spaced apart directly at the barrel, shell velocity metre, differentiating circuit, signal generators, shift register, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th AND elements, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th fire counters, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th shell velocity analysers, ADC, memory unit, transmitter and receiver and indicator. Shell velocity analyser consists of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd threshold devices, signal generator and OR element. Fire counter comprises pulse counter, subtractor and signal generator.
EFFECT: longer life.
