SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a spectral noise metre, having an acoustic detector, a first frequency channel with a first amplification stage configured to amplify a first component of the output electric signal generated by the acoustic detector, a second frequency channel with a low-pass filter and a second amplification stage configured to filter and amplify a second component of the output electric signal generated by the acoustic detector. The device also includes an analogue-to-digital converter which enables to digitise the amplified output signal from the first amplification stage, a computer processing unit which enables to process the digital output signal from the analogue-to-digital converter so as to generate sets of data of power frequency spectra, and internal memory.
EFFECT: enabling storage of one or more sets of data of power frequency spectra, formed by processing the signal from the computer processing unit.
