FIELD: geophysical survey.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field-geophysical research, namely to method of borehole acoustic noise measurement. According to the method, acoustic noise is recorded inside the borehole drilled in the formation using a downhole device containing at least one sound detector. Analyzed and processed registered acoustic noise in time domain, during which clipped parts of registered acoustic noises and resonance modes are identified and removed. Then, spectral power density of the registered acoustic noise is evaluated along the well borehole and the types of dependence of spectral power density of the registered acoustic noise on frequency at different depths along the well shaft are determined. Characteristics of spectral density of power of registered acoustic noise on frequency at different depths define characteristics of flow in well and borehole zone of formation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy and reliability of determination of characteristics of filtration flows of liquids and gas in the borehole zone of the formation, as well as depth interval of the flow generating this noise.
