FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: protection in areas of pipeline passage is equipped with inserts made of heat-shielding material, for instance, on the basis of quartz fibres fixed on the outer surface of the protection and separating the pipelines from the sealing shell of the container with lithium hydride. Besides, the front and rear bottoms of the protection are equipped with headers that are separated in the circumferential direction into cavities and connected to each other by tubes that contain cooling coolant and fixed on the perforated shell of the protection placed in lithium hydride between the headers, and its front bottom is additionally equipped with an equidistantly arranged spherical shell with radial stampings, forming together with the front bottom the isolated cavities, which connect in the centre and have at the periphery the outlet to the cavities of the header on the front bottom, and cavities of the rear header are equipped with nozzles for supply and drainage of the coolant. At the same time the units of protection fixation to units of the nuclear power plant are placed on the partitions of the cavities of the headers made on the front and rear bottoms of the protection.
EFFECT: provision of acceptable temperature mode of lithium hydride, excluding release of hydrogen from it and its diffusion via a protection shell into space.
