FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and may be used for administering phentanyl in the form of a base to an individual in need thereof. A one-piece transdermal overlay is replaced on the skin so that the balanced delivery is to be effective to provide an analgesic effect. The overlay has a carrier and a reservoir having a thickness of 0.0125 mm to 0.0375 mm, containing a polymer composition having polyacrylate and phentanyl in the form of the base in the amount of approximately 7 to approximately 12 wt %, wherein phentanyl is effective for inducing and providing the analgesic effect in an individual for one day.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing the body accumulation of the residual drug preparation and the side effects of using phentanyl.
