FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for inductive transmission of electric power to vehicles (F1-F13), running along the track. Electric power supply system (2) is composed of primary conductor laid along the track and divided in electrically isolated sections (3-7). At least one current source (3'-7') to feed steady-state current to appropriate section (3-7) is connected thereto. Device incorporates means to determine total power demand of moving vehicles (F1-F13), at every section (3-7) and means to control electric power sources (3'-7') for generation of steady-state current corresponding to total power demand of a particular section (3-7). For every section (3-7) total power demand of moving vehicles (F1-F13) is defined while connected electric current source (3'-7') feeds steady-state current to appropriate section (3-7) corresponding to energy-saving supply.
