FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device for rail vehicle electrical sink operational use is configured to operate on the electricity, produced in deceleration process. The device for operational use comprises the actuating unit for regulation of the sink work in two operating modes. The first operating mode is destined for sink work in the first phase of work during the deceleration phase. The second operating mode is destined for sink work in the second phase of work during the phase, which is prior to the deceleration phase. The actuating unit regulates the sink work in such a way as to its operating load in the second operating mode is lower than in the first one. The device for operational use comprises the unit, which is destined for the selection of the parameter of the second phase of work initialization based on the deceleration phase criteria. The actuating unit regulates the sink work in such a way that this unit changes the threshold value of the regular parameter for the load increase when passing in the first operating mode.
EFFECT: more efficient consumption of energy, produced in the deceleration process.
