SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing tertiary amines, particularly a novel method of hydrogenating enamines, which can be used in laboratory conditions and enables to obtain saturated tertiary amines of general formula

The method of hydrogenating enamines is characterised by that the enamines used are: 2-methyl-3-(N-piperidino)propene, 2-methyl-3-(N-morpholino)propene, 1-(N-piperidino)cyclohexene-1, 1-(N-morpholino)cyclohexene-1 or 1,4-dicyclohex-1-enylpiperazine, and hydrogenation is carried out with hydrogen at atmospheric pressure in the presence of a catalyst in form of nickel nanoparticles obtained by reducing nickel (II) chloride with sodium borane in situ, in a medium of isopropanol at temperature of 40-70°C for 5-6 hours.
EFFECT: simple and cheap method of producing compounds of the disclosed structural formula.
