FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: light scaling ladder from composite materials includes one tubular string and tubular steps arranged at both sides from it and fixed in it in a cantilever manner with displacement of the steps of one side relative to the steps of the other side by a half of distance between steps, besides, the string wall is made preferably as triple-layer from outer and inner shells from composite, such as glass, organic or coal plastic, manufactured by the method of winding and a foam plastic layer of alternate thickness arranged between them with elliptical shape of the cross section of the inner shell, which is arranged with the outer large diameter of the ellipse with a thrust inside the outer shell, at the same time the steps are arranged in dead holes, made in the plane of the maximum thickness of the foam plastic layer, with its fixation in three rigid supports of composite and two cushions of foam plastic. Also the method is described to manufacture a light scaling ladder from composite materials.

EFFECT: increased reliability of ladder operation, increased stiffness and strength of a string, compactness, increased convenience of operation and manufacturability of making.
