FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tool for production of aircraft window frame. Proposed tool is made of polymer composite. Said tool comprises thrust plate, closing plate and central and peripheral forming inserts fitted there between. Note here that said central insert has outer lateral forming surface in perimetre defining the window frame inner surface configuration. Peripheral insert features the shape of closed framing to cover central insert over its perimetre from the side of its forming surface defining the window frame outer surface configuration. Forming surfaces of both inserts allow making a closed tight cavity between them and between thrust plate to form window frame. Note here that proposed tool comprises extra limiting insert shaped to closed framing located between thrust and limiting plates to cover peripheral insert along its perimetre. Note also that said central and peripheral forming inserts are secured at closing plate to allow for clearance between forming surface along the entire perimetre.

EFFECT: decreased weight, ease of window frame production.
