SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, neurosurgery and ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be used for determination of degree of blood flow compensation in spinal artery in case of trauma and cervical spine diseases. Colour duplex scanning of spinal arteries is carried out. Indices of volume rate of blood flow in V1 and V3 segments are determined. Coefficient of blood flow compensation on the right and on the left is calculated. Conclusion about degree of blood flow compensation in spinal artery is made on the basis of calculated value.

EFFECT: degree of blood flow compensation in spinal artery is determined.
