FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, neurology and X-ray diagnostics and can be used for prediction of clinical outcome of cerebral ischemic stroke. In impaired consciousness on the third day since the disease start corresponding to 8 points and less as per Glasgow coma scale computed tomography perfusion with quantitative determination of blood flow in the brain stem at the level of the greater foramen and colour duplex scanning of intracranial parts of the vertebral arteries are performed. In case of a combination of the following values: reduction of the blood flow in the brain stem below 30 ml per 100 g of cerebral substance per minute by data of the CT perfusion, diastolic blood flow velocity equal to 0, resistivity index equal to 1.0, Gosling pulsatility index more than 1.8 according to the colour duplex scanning, the unfavourable outcome is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides high accuracy of prediction of clinical outcome of the given pathology.
