FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises placing the blank into die with clearance from its wall, fitting consumable electrodes therein, making the flux bath and remelting of consumable electrodes therein. Main layer is made from alloy steel that contains the following components in wt %: carbon - 0.10-0.50, silicon - 0.5-1.5, manganese - 0.5-1.5, chromium - 0.5-1.5, phosphorus - 0.025, sulfur - 0.025. Consumable electrodes are rolled round stock 40-60 mm in diameter from steel containing the following components in wt %: carbon - 0.6-1.2, silicon - 0.15-1.8, manganese - 0.15-0.80, chromium - 0.7-1.7, phosphorus - not over 0.025, sulfur - 0.025. Steel 30-70 mm-dia bars are attached to main layer steel including the following components in wt %: carbon - 1.0-1.5, silicon - 0.1-0.5, manganese - 0.1-0.5, chromium - 1.0-7.5, tungsten - 0.5-2.5, vanadium - 0.3-1.2, molybdenum - up to 0.3, phosphorus - not over 0.025, sulfur - not over 0.025 which allows in remelting the formation of alloyed steel layer including: carbon - 0.7-1.2, silicon - 0.1-1.7, manganese - 0.15-0.80, chromium - 0.6-2.0, tungsten - 0.02-1.0, vanadium - 0.02-0.2, molybdenum - up to 0.3, phosphorus - not over 0.025, sulfur - not over 0.025. Relation of bars weight to that of consumable electrodes makes 10-20%.
EFFECT: wear proof plates layer with high strength and continuous bonding.
