SUBSTANCE: described is a method for deparaffination of hydrocarbon material containing a waxy component by isomerising said component, which involves bringing the material, in deparaffination conditions, into contact with a catalyst system containing ZSM-48 and a molecular sieve with an MTT structure, where the ZSM-48 has molar ratio of silicon oxide to aluminium oxide of 100, the molecular sieve with an MTT structure has molar ratio of silicon oxide to aluminium oxide of less than 45, the molar sieve with an MTT structure is ZSM-23, and the ratio of ZSM-48 to ZSM-23 is at least 75:25.
