FIELD: fire prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for preparation of technical foam. In the foam generator the dispersion chamber is made in the form of a truncated cone widening in the course of the foam. On the inlet of the chamber the sprayer with two fittings is mounted: a fitting for compressed air and a fitting for the foam generator. The dispersion chamber ends with the reversed truncated cone attached to the dispersion chamber with its large base having a foam-duct at the output. At the area of conversion of the reversed cone into the foam-duct a retaining grid is mounted. Along the axis of the dispersion chamber a cylindrical insert is placed, connected to the dispersion chamber by the retaining grid. Between the walls of the dispersion chamber, inside it a spiral partition is located made in the form of a conical screw with a cone surface angle coinciding with the cone surface angle of the dispersion chamber. The space between the dispersion chamber walls and the spiral partition is filled with the filler of fibrous elastic material, e.g. entangled metal wire, plastic shavings.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of foam generation by intensifying of agitation.
