FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting equipment, particularly to foam generator including the housing, distributing and guiding device. Said housing is shaped to prismatic shell ring with foam solution distributor attached to one side of said housing and composed of vertical intake pipe with bearing and connection flanges and two extra pipes with plugged both ends arranged horizontally perpendicular to said first one. Said foam solution distributor is built inside said housing. IDs of all said pipes are identical. All said pipes are intercommunicated. Branch pipes are connected to said pipes from the housing shell ring side. Said short, medium and long branch pipes terminates in atomisers directed toward guide gauze. The latter is composed by three coaxial pyramidal rings in the form of generating gauzes. Note here that every said shell ring comprises wire carcass of two square-shape bases and side ribs with truncated pyramidal surface. Note also that outer shell ring has its larger base secured to the housing. Note that generating gauzes are arranged so that their axes are located at axis aligned with that of the housing. Note that direction of vertices of outer and inner generating gauzes is aligned while vertex of medium gauze has opposite direction. Said vertex of medium gauze is directed towards foam solution distributor. Note that every atomiser comprises case with screw inserted therein and fluid feed pipe. Said case is composed by two aligned interconnected cylindrical sleeves. Note here that smaller-diameter sleeve houses auger fitted therein and aligned therewith and rigidly coupled with its inner surface. Note also that auger inner surface represents a helical groove while two rows of through holes concentric with circumferences are made there inside. Note that every row has at least three holes while hole diameters decrease from auger axis to peripheral holes. Larger-diameter sleeve houses union is aligned therewith and secured thereto by, for example, a threaded joint via gasket. Cylindrical bore is made inside said union changing into axially symmetric diffuser connected with cylindrical chamber composed by smaller-diameter sleeve inner surface and auger end surface.
