FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire-fighting equipment and is intended for use in automatic fire extinguishing systems. In the foam generator of vortex type each of the spraying nozzles comprises a housing in which the screw is pressed, and the liquid supply fitting. The housing consists of two coaxal interconnected cylindrical sleeves: the sleeve of larger diameter and the sleeve of smaller diameter. Inside the sleeve a smaller diameter, coaxial to it, there is a screw which is rigidly connected to its inner surface. The outer surface of the screw is a spiral groove. Inside the screw there is one central through opening and at least two through openings concentrically located on the row circumferences. In each row there are at least three openings. The diameters of the openings decrease from the center opening to the peripheral. In the sleeve of larger diameter coaxially to it there is a fitting which is fixed in it through the sealing gasket. Inside the fitting a cylindrical opening is coaxially made, passing into the axially located diffuser. The diffuser is connected to the cylindrical chamber formed by the inner surface of the sleeve of a smaller diameter and an end surface of the screw. The screw is made of solid material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of spraying of fire extinguishing liquid solution of the foam generator (high-expansion polydisperse foam).
