SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to production of carbon dioxide adsorbent. Production of carbon dioxide adsorbent based on hydroxides of alkaline and/or alkaline earth metals comprises bonding of said metals with fibrous material, shaping the adsorbent to sheet and drying. Prior to shaping, shell is made to fill hydroxides of the paste of alkaline and/or alkaline earth metals therein and to interconnect the shell edges. Proposed device comprises initial substance proportioner assy, fibrous material substrate feed assy, shaping assy, transfer assy, drier and welding assy. Shaping assy includes shaping tool mounted at posts.
