SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of purifying water, which is by-product of the process of obtaining liquid hydrocarbons by Fischer-Tropsch reaction. Method of purifying water flow, supplied from Fischer-Tropsch reaction, includes supply of said water flow, which contains organic by-products of reaction, into one or more units of diffusion evaporation, and said one or more units of diffusion evaporation include at least one polymeric membrane of diffusion evaporation, with obtaining of two output flows: water flow (1), enriched with alcohols, which contains from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, preferably from 2 to 4 atoms of carbon, and water flow (2), enriched with water.

EFFECT: purification of water flow to quality, which makes it possible to apply it as drinking water, water for irrigation, re-apply in Fischer-Tropsch reaction as technological or cooling water, obtaining flow, enriched with alcohols, with possibility of their further application.
