FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar control coatings. Coating ensures high coefficient of solar heat gain (SHGC) and low coefficient of heat transfer (U- value) for catching and storing solar heat in northern climate. Coating includes first dielectric layer; continuous metal layer with width not less than 8 nm, formed on, at least, part of first dielectric layer; grounding layer, formed on, at least, part of metal layer; second dielectric layer, formed on, at least, part of grounding layer; and external coating, formed on, at least, part of second dielectric layer. In the process of application on the surface of base glass pack No 3, coating ensures SHGC higher or equal to 0.6 and U-value less or equal to 0.35.
EFFECT: creation of coating and product with coating, especially useful for architectural glazing for northern climate.
